Direct Cremation

At Birches, we believe that every person we are entrusted with carrying out a direct cremation for deserves a dignified, caring service.
All committals take place in our modern, welcoming hall of remembrance and if requested, a specific piece of music can be played at this time.

Option 1 -
Brought by Funeral Director (£325)

The deceased is brought to the crematorium by the funeral director at a mutually agreed time and ashes collected by the FD staff.

Option 2 -
Collected by the Birches Team (£350)

The deceased is collected by a professional member of the Birches team from your premises at a mutually agreed time and ashes are returned to the FD by the crematorium.

Option 3-
Enhanced Direct Cremation (Bespoke)

We also offer additional services in conjunction with yourselves such as bringing the deceased directly to our care from hospital & provision of a dignified coffin. Please contact us for more information.
