How does an outdoor funeral work?

An outdoor funeral amongst our 6 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens can be a wonderful tribute to a loved one and can be followed by a short service in the hall of remembrance to view any visual tributes you may wish to have.

We always ensure that your service is the only one taking place at this time so that should the great British weather fail us, the hall of remembrance is available as a backup. That being said, we will always try to make sure the outdoor service can happen (it might just mean big coats and sensible shoes!).

Refreshments can also be arranged for alongside, before or after the service takes place.
